Meet The Team

Jon Brush
About Jon
With over 25 years of experience, Jon still looks forward to coming to work everyday and bringing a smile! At the age of 12, Jon started learning the trade and building homes. By the time he was in high school he was hired by his superintendent of the school district to work at an asbestos abatement company. At 17, Jon knew this is what he wanted his path to be and never has looked back.
In 2000, Jon and two partners decided to purchase the Mid-Michigan Management (M3) company. They were able to grow it into a successful company that still exists today.
Stepping away in 2022 for health reasons, Jon came back to M3 in 2023 and became the majority shareholder.
Seeing the success of M3 in the Lansing area, Jon wanted to see what he was able to offer southeastern Michigan. Jon decided to create Foster Contracting and have it offer asbestos abatement services, selective demolition, and other general contracting services for both residential and commercial while M3 will focus more on bigger commercial jobs.
As the owner of both companies, Jon not only focuses on how to give back to the community but he wants to be able to provide an environment for his employees to be able to live a day to day life, working towards their goals, for some even being able to buy their own first home.
“After a job completed by us, I want everyone to walk away and remember us as that great company that always provided consistent quality work and we stand by everything” - Jon Brush

Jesse Neubauer
Employed since June 2021
About Jesse
I’ve had no prior background in this industry before joining. Did some framing and drywall for a few years. I fell in love with the trades and I got a call about a position available with the company. I look forward to seeing our company continue to grow, learn more, and getting more comfortable with my recent job role promotion. I want to learn more about the logistics and business side of the industry. One of my favorite hobbies is skateboarding. I’m a huge skater and a fan. I love the outdoors especially when it’s deer season. If I’m stuck inside I’m definitely playing Magic or hanging out. You will most likely find me out in the blind or treestand.

About Matt
3 years ago I was a software developer at a mortgage company. The industry shifted and now I get to demolish buildings. Learning everyday about asbestos is an interesting part of this job and finding out all the things they put asbestos in. I’m very excited to see where this company can go!

About Mike
Started construction work in Aug. 1989 with Steel Roofing and Siding. In March of ‘90, I started my carpentry career with rough framing on the pole barns, residential remodeling and restoration (fire, wind, water damage, etc). Now a construction finish carpenter and job site superintendent. Spent 2 years as a maintenance/carpenter worker at a facility with 46 houses and 8 various other buildings. Became self-employed as a custom trim carpenter. In 2021, this opportunity came up. It has been an interesting learning experience from tech, foreman, estimator, and now branch manager.

About Ryan
I hold 2 Associate degrees from Jackson College and am inches away from a Bachelor's in Family Life Education. My dream job would be to mentor and counsel children at the high school level. I have been a reputable interior and exterior painter for 25 years and actually spent a small time in business for myself in my early working years. My work background is mainly CNC Machining with about 20 years of experience. I saw an opportunity with Foster Contracting upon moving to the Lansing, MI area. I have been beyond pleased after joining this team made up of intelligent, hard working and ultra friendly staff with an eye for perfection and a nose for hard work. My kind of people! Those qualities are what separates us from the competition day in, day out. Everyday I look forward to coming to work because of the standards and expectations this "family-like" company stands for!

About Dominique
I recently joined the team and it's been a blast! I do not have straight-time experience specifically in demolition or asbestos work, but I have been in the construction field for many years. I bring over seven years of experience in wood and metal framing, which has given me strong knowledge of how structures are built. Because of that, demolition work has always interested me - after spending so much time building things, I understand how they are put together and how to take them apart safely and efficiently. I truly enjoy the work I do, but what gives me the most pride and joy are the connections I build with customers, project managers, building owners, and the people I work
alongside with. Relationships are important to me, and I value being part of a strong team. I plan to continue growing in this field and contribute to the company in a way that meets - and exceeds - my boss's expectations over the years.

About Cooper
My friends and family got me interested in the construction field. I always had an interest in the construction field but I got into abatement. Walked up to Jon himself and asked if he would take a chance on me. Here I am 6 months later with a truck and a phone. Things I thought I would never have. I plan on learning more in the position that I’m in, I’m grateful for being here and I’ve learned a lot within the time span. I hope this will all be worth it when I get older.
